Board of Directors

President

Chad Wege is the inaugural President and serves the role as chief executive officer for the Chapter and the Board.  He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Chapter and for ensuring that the Board collectively contributes to the achievement of that strategy.  In addition, he plays a key role in promoting the purpose of the IIBA® to the community, developing alliances with other complementary organizations, and ensuring the long-term viability and sustainability of the Chapter. The President is a principal officer and shall be the Chapter's chief executive officer and serves as chairperson to the Board of Directors. The president shall serve as the Ex-Officio after their term in office

Chad has several years of experience in the information technology field within the telecommunications, regulatory compliance and health insurance industries.  He has served in a number of capacities including business analysis, project management, and system support and application development management.  Most recently employed with UnitedHealth Group as a senior business analyst, he works with a dedicated program team to develop an enterprise-wide customer service application to support more than 25,000 users.

Chad holds three undergraduate degrees in the areas of computer science and business, as well as two management certificates from the American Management Association and University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Business.  In his spare time, he participates in two other non-profit associations serving minority groups locally and throughout the state.

President-Elect

tammyTammy Miller collaborates with the President to learn the role of the presidency, become familiar with the programs of the Chapter and its governance, and develop and facilitate officer transition.  She is responsible for the development of partnerships with other chapters, synergistic organizations and the local community to increase the visibility of the Chapter.

Tammy has been in the Information Technology field for 20+ years.  She is currently employed at Oshkosh Corporation as a Principal Business Analyst in the Defense Segment.  At Oshkosh, she supports Procurement and Quality by managing the project portfolio for these areas, eliciting requirements, documenting functional specifications, and is involved in the overall completion of projects.  Tammy has a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®).

Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, camping and spending time outdoors. She volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader and serves on her Parish Council.

VP of Administration

No-Image-AvailableDiane Zilles is responsible for maintaining accurate records of chapter activities and business and is the primary custodian of official chapter documents.  She is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the Board's business was conducted.

Diane has been in IT for twenty years after working for a short time as a management engineer.  The majority of her IT career was at a Wisconsin cheese manufacturer where she was their first IT hire.  This experience allowed her to gain an understanding of all roles in IT and eventually, as the department grew, was able to focus on business analysis, project management and process improvement.  Diane is currently working as a consultant.

Diane graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.

VP of Finance

Cheri Schettl, CPA, is charged with the stewardship of the Chapter's finances and the managment and reporting of the Chapter's financial postion.  She keeps the board of directors informed of key financial events, trends and issues in addition to ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting.

Cheri is a Senior Business Analyst at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  She has been in that role for six years and has supported numerous projects by eliciting, analyzing and documenting both business requirements and rules.  While at Thrivent, the majority of Cheri's tenure was in Financial Analysis and Expense Management.  Prior to joining Thrivent in 1991, Cheri worked six years in public accounting.  Cheri has an interest in business architecture, metrics and cost benefit analysis and hopes to capitalize on these interests within her role as a business analyst. 

Cheri is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Public Accountants (WICPA).  In addition to being a CPA, Cheri is a CumLaude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with an undergraduate degree in Finance.  In prior years, Cheri has volunteered by serving as both a Director and Treasurer for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh-College of Business Alumni Association and serving as a member of the Financial and Audit Review Committee of the United Way Fox Cities.

VP of Technology & Communication

Jen Gibson is responsible for timely dissemination of information to and from Chapter constituents, and development and maintenance of technologies that support Chapter communications and operations. Additionally, the position promotes the local Chapter and IIBA® to internal and external publications. Responsibility entails development and maintenance of the Chapter’s website and technical infrastructure, and the development and delivery of communications to membership and distribution list subscribers.

Jen has been employed at PAi in De Pere, Wisconsin since 2006. In addition to performing business analysis on projects, Jen is also on the "PAi it Forward" team, a committee devoted to ongoing service and charitable giving to numerous organizations in the community.

Jen spends much of her spare time doing freelance graphic design. You can also see her on stage at ComedyCity De Pere, an improvisation comedy club in the Green Bay area.

VP of Education & Certification

debThe VP of Education & Certification is responsible to design the Chapter's professional development programs to increase competence of the business analysis community. He or she is responsible for promoting Business Analysis professionalism at the Chapter level through delivery of educational curriculum at applicable meetings, events, seminars, and workshops.  The educational program delivery is designed to help members achieve certification as Certified Business Analysis Professionals (CBAP®).

Deb has 15 years of business analysis experience.  She is currently a Senior Business Analyst at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®).  In addition to performing business analysis on projects, Deb is also responsible to provide coaching, mentoring, and training for other business analysts, and to perform quality assurance.  Deb was intimately involved in developing Thrivent Financial's requirements methodology including processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates.   

In her spare time, when she's not up north at her cottage enjoying nature, Deb is pursuing a secondary career as a freelance copy editor and proofreader.  She's extremely proud of the fact that she recently edited Roxanne Miller's book The Quest for Software Requirements.

VP of Membership & Sponsorship

adamAdam Lagodny is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Chapter membership plan that assures continued growth through recruiting and partnering with major community employers.  He is also responsible for proactive solicitation and acquisition of sponsorship support in various forms, including financial, facilities and supplies.

Adam has over eight years of information technology experience; with positions in both government and private sectors. He has served in a number of roles including Program Analyst, Web Designer, Project Management, and Business Analyst.

Adam graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Logistics Management.

VP of Events

The VP of Events is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of official Chapter programs.  He or she is the designated liaison with professional associations and program guest speakers and is primarily responsible for schedules, logistical arrangements, publications, registration and related record-keeping for Chapter events.

VP of Strategy

Tom Ditzler provides leadership for the promotion and implementation of the Chapter's strategic initiatives. Tom is also responsible for creation and leadership of member committees to assist in fulfilling the Chapter's strategic initiatives.

Tom has been employed at J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. for more than 13 years. He has served in sales, marketing, project management, and business analyst roles and is now leading the company through a multi-year implementation of SAP. Tom holds numerous certificates in project management, training, and education.

Director of Accounting

No-Image-AvailableFran Davis-Rentmeester reports to the VP of Finance and is responsible for bookkeeping and general accounting activities that include support of the annual budget process, providing quarterly updates on current and planned activities and maintaining accurate financial records for the Chapter.

Fran is a Business Management Analyst (Change Manager) at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  In her previous role as a Senior Business Analyst, Fran implemented and supported several Call Center / Enterprise applications.  Prior to joining Thrivent in 2005, Fran worked as a Business Analyst and Programmer in the manufacturing and service industries. 

Fran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  In addition to her position with IIBA, Fran is serving as the current VP of Public Relations for Thrivent’s Appleton based Toastmasters.  In her spare time, Fran enjoys training for half-marathons and volunteering with Junior Achievement, and at several local hospitals.
